Brilliance of the Seas - Delayed
October 24, 2009
While returning to Barcelona, Spain from Corfu, Greece, Brilliance of the Seas encountered two weather systems with strong winds and high seas, which significantly slowed its sailing speed. Due to the inclement weather, Brilliance of the Seas will not arrive in Barcelona at its originally scheduled time of 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 25. Due to this delayed arrival, the boarding process for guests on the October 25 sailing will not take place until the following day, Monday, October 26. If you are a guest on the October 25 sailing of Brilliance of the Seas, and live in the Barcelona area, we ask that you come to the port Monday morning to board the ship. Guests who are not able to reschedule their arrival will be provided with accommodations at a local hotel overnight and will be transferred to the ship for boarding on Monday.
Royal Caribbean International will continue to closely monitor the weather and will provide guests and their families with updates on the estimated arrival time of Brilliance of the Sea into Barcelona.
We sincerely regret any inconvenience that this incident may have caused our guests and certainly appreciate their understanding of these unexpected developments due to weather.
Brilliance of the Seas' 12-night Mediterranean Greek Isles cruise includes port calls include Nice (Villefranche), Italy; Florence/Pisa (Livorno), Italy; Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy; Mykonos, Greece; Ephesus (Kusadasi), Turkey; Santorini, Greece; Athens (Piraeus), Greece; and Naples/Capri, Italy.
Unter diesen Umständen denke ich mal, dass es gut erklärlich ist, dass die CARNIVAL DREAM nicht gekommen ist und man wohl dafür ein gewisses Verständnis aufbringen muss.
Gruß
