Ich hoffe Sonnendeck Seereisen arbeitet heute länger.

Ich möchte gegen 19 Uhr eine Balkonkabine für die östliche Karibik im März oder April 2019 optionieren

- Buchungseröffnung um 18:00 Uhr, Östliche und Westliche Karibik-Kreuzfahrten ab Port Everglades ab Mitte Dezember 2018.

Bin ja bisserl enttäuscht, hatte so auf paar nette Europa-Fahrten gehofft, jetzt wurden es ausschliesslich die Standard-7-Tage-Karibik-Ost-West. Schade. Und da ich USA-Reisen wegen der Unberechenbarkeit des Herrn Donald vermeide bis 2020, wirds wohl nix mit der Edge.

Dann testen wir halt mal MSC.

Der Magic Carpet ist aber in meinen Augen reine Effekthascherei.
Aber die Kabinen und das restliche Design wirken richtig gut.

Wie es aussieht, wird aus meiner Optionierung dann auch nix. Habe was von 3400 $ bei Doppelbelegung in der günstigsten verfügbaren Kategorie gelesen. Da ender mein Träumchen dann doch.

Celebrity made the most of its first new ship class in 10 years, bringing in a design and architectural dream team from around the globe to push the boundaries of ship design and to evolve luxury travel at sea, including internationally renowned interior designer Kelly Hoppen MBE of Kelly Hoppen Interiors and visionary architect Tom Wright of WKK. American designer Nate Berkus serves as Celebrity Edge's design ambassador. Design Breakthrough Enables Larger Rooms to Reach the Water's Edge
Revolutionary staterooms erase the boundaries between the traditional ship stateroom and its veranda, creating a closer connection to the ocean. The new Edge Stateroom with Infinite Veranda turns guest quarters into a seamless space, from the room's door all the way to the water's edge. Schreck lass nach!

Die einzige gute Idee (aber auch nur gut kopiert) sind die verglasten Balkonkabinen. Ansonsten wäre mir die Millenium-Klasse weitaus lieber!

Auf der Edge ist mir viel zu viel weiß und grau - sieht aus wie 'ne schwimmende Arztpraxis.

Die für mich spannendste und sensationellste Neuigkeit an diesen Schiffen der Egde-Klasse ist der gigantische Außenfahrstuhl in Form einer Restaurantaußenterrasse auf der Steuerbordseite namens "MAGIC CARPET" mit seinen Zustiegsmöglichkeiten an Deck 16, 14, 5 und 2. Wenn der MAGIC CARPET auf Deck 2 steht, soll man offenbar von da aus auch direkt in die Tenderboote steigen können.
